History of the Bible Training Institute
At the 34th Annual Assembly in 1939, the Questions and Subjects Committee brought out the following resolution:
“…It is recommended that a committee of three be appointed, and that said committee should be authorized to make the necessary investigations in order to initiate [Bible Training Camp], and if in their judgment the conditions justifying this action are found. , have full authority to organize, manage and direct the school, some teachers and suitable books and literature, and to work out the details regarding tuition, board and rooms, etc. If conditions prove that such action is premature, the committee should hold the matter…”
After much prayer, testing, and preparation, the first Bible Training Camp was held during the summer season of 1941. Although the Bible training program has undergone a name change to the Bible Training Institute and No longer run by a committee, it remains dedicated to the formation of Christian men and women for the service of the Lord.

Who is she? – History of the Church of God
Written by: R.O. Covey
Volumes have been written on the so-called “church history” by various historians. However, in the light of divine revelation given to the church of God, much of what is called “Church history” applies only to the church in Rome, and later to the sharply divided denominational system. The Church of God, however, is exclusive. It has a unique story.
