“And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began” (Acts 3:20, 21).
The prophets foretold the First and Second Coming of Jesus. After His First Coming, He ascended to heaven but will return to finish God’s “restitution of all things,” the final prophetic fulfillment. The word “restitution” refers to that which was in a bad state but has been changed into a good one. The Scripture said, “TIMES of restitution,” not TIME. From Genesis to Revelation, each time a prophecy was fulfilled, God was doing a reset.
“The Great Reset” is the name of a global initiative headed by the World Economic Forum. Members include over 1,000 high-profile business and political leaders—many of the world’s richest men and many of the world’s largest companies. Their objective is the global rebuilding of society following the COVID-19 pandemic. Could this set the stage for a One World Order with the Antichrist at its head? Like the Tower of Babel, the attempted Great Reset of the antichrist will fail.
All that mankind lost when Adam sinned, Jesus restores. “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Cor. 15:22). Early in His ministry, Jesus proclaimed a reset in fulfillment of Isaiah 61:1-3. At Nazareth, He read in the synagogue, “The Spirit of the Lord… hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind… This day is this scripture fulfilled…” (Luke 4:18, 21). Oh, what a change Jesus makes. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Cor. 5:17).
God did a reset at the first Assembly of the Church when, in fulfillment of Amos 9:11, 12, James said of the Gentiles, “…God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name. And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles…” (Acts 15:14-17). The Church went into the Dark Ages but God did a reset when she began to arise and shine on June 13, 1903 (Isaiah 60:1, 2). God did another reset in 1923 and again in 1993. God spake through the prophet Joel, “Blow the trumpet in Zion… call a solemn assembly… And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…” (Joel 2:15, 25). God will do whatever reset is necessary for His Church to fulfill all prophecies spoken of her. Isaiah prophesied, “For the LORD shall comfort Zion… and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD…” (Isa. 51:3).
The Great Reset, the consummation of the “restitution of all things,” is swiftly approaching. John wrote, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth… And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new… It is done…” (Rev. 21:1, 5, 6).
