World Missions is an essential part of the work of the Church of God. The World Missions Department oversees the difficult task of missions and evangelism throughout the world. Christ, in his final commandment to his Church, declared: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19-20).

The Missionary Partnership Alliance
“…To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you…” (2 Corinthians 10:16).
The Alliance Missionary Association was first introduced to the Women’s Missionary Church Group Coordinator, Mary Foster, during the 1995 General Assembly. The goal of this program was, and continues to be, to offer special support to the fields of The mission. Since the Church is currently unable to fund the salaries of our national overseers, this program offers much needed assistance to enable these men to devote greater time and effort toward winning souls to Christ and His Church.

Today, an appeal is being made to good people everywhere to seek the Lord about this much-needed ministry. It is requested that each one ask God what should be given to each one in support of the national supervisors of the Church of God. Some may be able to give a significant deal of time. Others may send in a small or large monthly commitment as they are able. It is possible that some of the strong regions or states, or even financially strong local churches could dedicate to sending three hundred dollars per month to fully support the award of an overseer. Anything contributed will be greatly appreciated and will certainly result in winning souls to the Kingdom of God and to the Church of God.

These funds flow through Headquarters and directly to the mission fields where they are needed. What an opportunity we have to touch the souls of the entire world through this effort. Do you want to join us in this task? You can send your offers to the General Treasurer, giving your local church and the designation of your gift to the MPA. The local treasurer will send the funds with his monthly report to the General Treasurer. It will then be sent directly to the field to serve our national supervisors.
